This collage is suppose to have all one color making an illusion. The illusion of all different blues makes the photo look like the photo is popping out at you. Size of shapes also create different shapes as they overlap each other.

This drawing was a picture of me with charcoal. I had tried to start off with light charcoal and then draw a darker upside down egg to create the shape of the head. As I kept drawing my face I made it gray and added facial features like the eyes,nose,eyebrows,ears,and lips to create a face. I used value to show the shadows that were made by the angle of the way the picture was taken. In result this is the best I could do and used these techniques to create this charcoal face.

This picture is landscape drawing with pastel. I drew a night photo with the moon over mount si. Oil pastels worked well to make the dark colors pop out and make the moon look bright. I used layering to make colors look like it was in real life. I used value, texture, and contrast to make it look like the moon was right above mount si. I used the skills to show a picture of the night where the moon was just over the mountain.

The proportions of the human head is a 8 to 5 ratio. An eye is usually shaped like an almond too. The positions of the eyes and nose are in the middle of the face and the lips are directly under the nose about a half inch to an inch. Ears start at the top of the eyes and fall between the nose and mouth. You make an eye glassy by adding an extra circle around the eye to make it look brighter. In conclusion drawing the human head is very difficult.
